Stay in a large self contained wing of a 16th century historical listed farmhouse on a 200 acre farm. Steeped in history once visited by Samuel Johnson. Nestling at the foot of the Clwydian Range (area of outstanding natural beauty) with undisturbed views of the Vale of Clwyd.

The accommodation is a Grade 5 Wales Tourist Board Highest possible therefore you can be assured the furnishings and fittings are to an excellent standard.

• 3 bedrooms - 1 double, 1 twin, 1 King size double antique four poster bed with Sanderson curtains. All bedrooms overlook open unspoilt countryside.

• Bathroom - Bath, shower above bath, washbasin, toilet and shaver point.

• Downstairs toilet.

• Oak panelled lounge with colour TV. Wood burning stove in inglenook. Soft furnishings are in a Sanderson fabric. Oak beamed ceiling.

• Kitchen - dining area with oak farmhouse kitchen table and 6 dining chairs. Oak beamed ceiling colourwash walls. Oak kitchen units - Microwave, fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, double oven electric cooker, automatic washing machine. All electric - fully equipped.

• The kitchen, lounge and dining area overlook unspoilt countryside.

• Part central heating also storage heater in all rooms.

• Large shared garden with table, benches and swings.

The River Clwyd runs through our farm with trout and salmon fishing on offer in season.

A wonderful location for touring North Wales. Day trips to Snowdonia, Conwy, Bodnant gardens, Betws-y-Coed and historic Chester. There are 3 castles in the immediate area. The coastal resort of Rhyl is only 9 miles away which boasts some top attractions such as the Sun Centre , Sea Life centre, theatre and many more.

There are 3 golf courses in the immediate area also a golf driving range.  The National Trust  at Erddig Wrexham and Bodnant Gardens. Afonwen Craft and Antique centre 5 minutes drive.  Brenig Reservoir for fishing, sailing and water sports. Denbigh is 3 miles away with its old castle and town walls. Ruthin is 7 miles away where medieval banquets can be arranged at the castle. Swimming pools at Denbigh, Ruthin and Holywell. Riding schools nearby.

• Free Range hens - eggs can be purchased when available.

• Storage heaters included in the rent November - March.

• Initial supply of logs provided free (1 basket). Extra supply can be purchased on the farm.

• Bed linen and towels provided and beds are made up ready for your arrival.

• Electric on a meter reading (on your arrival & departure).

• Bread, milk, eggs and butter can be purchased for your arrival if ordered before hand.

• Arrival time after 3.00pm. It would be appreciated if you could let us know approx. time of arrival. Departure time before 10.00am.
