Where you sleep and eat.

We have 3 guest bedrooms, each affording breathtaking views of the valley, accommodating a maximum of 6 guests at any one time. We are as happy to welcome a group of friends as we are to introduce our individual guests to each other to make new friends.
We have one twin with en-suite shower and private patio, one double with en-suite shower and private patio and another twin room with a bathroom across the hall.

Each day we provide breakfast, afternoon tea, a 3-course dinner in our spacious conservatory and a packed lunch to be eaten in a suitably picturesque spot All meals are home cooked and a free selection of wine, beer and soft drinks is always available.

Where you will be walking

The Vale of Clwyd has fabulous walking opportunities and is widely acknowledged as having some of the best rambling routes in Wales. We will be following sections of the Clwydian Way, one of the newest national walking trails in the UK, which includes parts of the northern region of Offa's Dyke.
The Vale is home to many bird species and in particular Ravens, Red and Black Grouse and Buzzards. Otters, foxes, hares and badgers are all easily spotted during a day's walking.

We take you to the start of the walk and pick you up at the finish point. One of us can also join you for the walk itself or, if you prefer, leave you to follow the comprehensive route maps we provide

Learn a new trick

One day of the week we suggest you take a break from walking and choose an alternative activity. We've teamed up with some excellent activity centres and can provide: White-water rafting, Walking up Snowdon, Laser clay shooting, Orienteering, Climbing, Abseiling, Canoeing, Quad biking, Dry-slope ski lesson/practice, shopping at Cheshire Oaks (Europe's largest retail outlet) or a visit to a Local attraction such as Chester, Llangollen or Betws-y-Coed.
If you would rather do more of these activities and less walking, or fancy trying something not listed, please contact us to discuss what's available.

Evening Stuff

After dinner you are welcome to amuse yourself by choosing from the library of books, games and puzzles on offer, enjoy a drink in the garden, conservatory or lounge or take yourself off for an evening out. Alternatively, if you still have the energy, we will organise a group trip into Chester, a few drinks at a local pub, a quiz night or beer tasting.

Autumn / Winter Ski fitness

In the run up to the ski season, we can also offer a 3 or 6-night programme of activities specifically designed to get your ski legs back. These include dry-slope ski lessons with Rachel, our resident qualified ski instructor, open practice and fitness sessions focused on those ski muscles!
